ネットで公開されているものを見ていたら、清水さんのリフがドリームシアターっぽいっていうレビューを発見。伊藤政則さんの番組がきっかけで聴いてみたドリームシアターの最新アルバムの中の曲が今とてもお気に入り。通勤用のプレイリストに入れるくらい好きなので、OMEGA MAN と Dream Theater に共通性があるのか〜って思うとうれしいというか、腑に落ちる感じ。

最後のところには、英語の歌詞じゃないと聴かない層のことを考えると英詞でリリースすることはより多くの人に聴いてもらうために必要みたいなコメントも。確かに私も聴くとしたら日本語または英語だから、英語以外はリスナーが母国語の人に限られちゃうもんね。
As mentioned in the beginning of the review, the fact they’ve released these tracks in English for the first time not only strengthens the delivery as a whole, but also opens up their spectrum to a much larger audience. (Not to knock the songs that were performed in Japanese, because having just listened to those, also, they’re great to listen to).
森川さんの英語力に直接言及しているものを２つ発見。森川さんの英語の歌唱は基本的に問題ないけど、人によっては気になるかもしれないって感じなのかな。日本の音楽業界で言えば、テレサ・テンさんとか？

"Yukio as a singer reminds me a lot of Graham Bonnet minus the man’s upper screaming intensity. His English is very intelligible and he does his best to passionately keep the power melodies flowing – “Black Empire” and “Echoes in the Dark” very endearing examples of his smoothness."

"Although the lyrics are sung in English, frontman Yukio Morikawa does have a strong accent on some of the songs. This may be off-putting to some listeners, but aside from this negligible strike against Nucleus, the album is otherwise excellent. "
